Australian company Pioneer Computers submitted another Tablet PC DreamBook ePad, model B10. New works on the basis of one of the processors CULV, called the Celeron 743 or Core Duo Solo SU3500 CULV. Nvidia GeForce 500M details and compare at CES 2011

The Santa Clara company�s official launch of the series of Nvidia GeForce 500, evolution of GeForce 400M. The leap in performance compared to the past should not be exciting. Find out the details.

Basically, the series of Nvidia GeForce 500M video cards are the evolution of the GeForce 400M previous range. From this inherit the CUDA chip same 96-core (except for the top model of the category with 144 Core) and the bus for the memory to 128 bits, just as happens, for example, the GeForce GT 435m. This, in essence, suggests that the manufacturer has not intervened massively on the technology, preferring to exploit the existing know-how, before moving on to solutions made by different production systems.

Get this thing hooked up to even the most rudimentary of home theater speaker systems and you should be doing just fine here.

It�s a little hard to look at a television that doesn�t offer the next generation of capability, no streaming here at all, but it will still do a nice job of providing your current needs, whether they be older or newer, just not the very newest.

And you�ll even be able to find this one at a pretty nice price�in two different places you can find this at seven hundred ninety seven dollars, and that�s not a terrible price for a television slightly larger than the smallest of the big screens.

The Samsung LN46C600 isn�t the best you�ll find, but it will do a pretty nice job with most anything you�ll need it for. It�s surprisingly impressive for a smaller large television, and it will definitely put a punch in your home theater system.

iPhone 5 in 2012?

Jim Dalrymple from Loopinsight mentioned that:

�Apple closed the door this morning on any speculation that it would announce new hardware at its Worldwide Developers conference saying it would focus on iOS and Mac OS.
Apple�s apparent focus on software in its WWDC announcement backs up what my own sources are saying about the annual conference. That is, expect a software show in 2011, not a hardware event.�

Thus, this news crushed all hopes for the iPhone fans to get their hands on iPhone 5 this June.
If there is no news regarding manufacturing of its parts, we will not be seeing it even the end of this year. Most probably sometime next year (2012).
It�s either Apple is cooking up a much better features for the iPhone 5 or trying to resolve the manufacturing issues.
Either way, I am also quite disappointed. I was really hoping to get Apple new gadget this year (since I am not getting the iPad 2).

Jackie Chan Dies of Heart Attack

A Los Angeles hospital has reported that Jackie Chan has passed away. The legendary Hong Kong actor who appeared in over 100 films died last night following a heart attack. He was promoting his most recent film, 'Kung Fu Panda 2'. Doctors say his heavy schedule was causing extreme stress and putting too much pressure on his heart. Chan was scheduled to fly to Hong Kong today to begin shooting on his next film '1911'.

The actors family has not yet issued a statement in regards to the passing of the truly remarkable actor who died at the young age of 56. Fans swarmed Facebook after confirmation of his passing came through a source close to Chan. A couple of celebrities have also posted their personal tributes through face book. Even United States President Barack Obama laid down a personal tribute to the martial artist saying: “Jackie Chan is a man who can talk through talent, he is a constant reminder of the strength of humanity. He will forever be in our hearts, a true inspiration who inspired many generations. First it's Nate Dogg then it's Jackie Chan."

MTV will be holding a special memorial for Chan on Friday.

This process is only for those who have already saved the ECIDs with SHSH to Cydia Server for iOS 4.1, iOS 4.0.1 or iOS 4.0.2 (You must have done/saved this before the release of iOS 4.2.)

Downgrade iOS 4.3.1 To 4.3, 4.2.1, 4.1 on iPhone, iPad And iPod Touch:
Step 1:

Download the required old ipsw firmware files.
(Download links: iOS 4.3, iOS 4.2.1, iOS 4.1, iOS 4.0.2, iOS 4.0.1)

Step 2:
Put your device into DFU mode (not recovery mode).

Connect your iOS device to your computer.
Turn it off.
Start iTunes.
Hold Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds or so.
Release Power button but keep holding the Home button until your computer recognizes a new USB device.
iTunes will now recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Note: Your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch screen at this time should be blank (black in color), if not, then you are most likely in Recovery Mode, not DFU mode.
Step 3:

Navigate to the path �c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\� and open the hosts file in a Notepad or Wordpad.
MAC users can navigate to the path �/etc/� and open the hosts file with TextEdit.

At the end of file add the string 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com useful to redirect requests for certificates for authenticity that iTunes will make to the Saurik server. Follow the steps below to see how to do this:
Windows users

Open Notepad with admin privileges, then right click on the icon of notepad and click on �Open as administrator�
Now that the Notepad is open Go to folder C:/WINDOWS/system32/drivers/etc and open the file.
Add the following line at the end of the document and save it: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

Mac users

Navigate to Go -> Go To Folder and enter the path /etc
Open the file hosts with TextEdit, add the following string 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com and save the file to your desktop.
Now return to the previous folder by following the same method and copy the text within this file by replacing the original file (If prompted for a password enter it and click OK)

Now simply save this file.
NOTE: For Windows 7 and Vista: Start �Notepad� with Administrator privileges by right clicking on �Notepad� app, and click on �Run as Administrator� option.
NOTE: For Mac OS X: Make sure you have full read and write access on your account when you are saving the host file. If it still throws permission error, simply copy the host file to desktop, make the required changes, and then replace it with the original file in �/etc/� directory.
Step 4:

Start iTunes, click on your iOS device icon from the sidebar in iTunes.
Now press and hold left �alt� (option) button on Mac, or Left �Shift� button if you are on Windows on the keyboard and then click on �Restore� (Not �Update� or �Check for Update�) button in the iTunes and then release this button.
This will make iTunes prompt you to select the location for your iOS 4.3, iOS 4.2.1 or 4.1 firmware file.
Select the desired ipsw file and click on �Open� to restore your iOS device.
Now sit back and enjoy as iTunes does the rest for you.
This will involve a series of automated steps. Be patient at this stage and don�t do anything silly.
Just wait while iTunes installs the requested firmware on your iOS device.
Your device screen at this point will be showing a progress bar indicating installation progress.
Once done, it will reboot automatically.
Now in some cases while restoring to iOS 4.3, iOS 4.2.1 or 4.1, iTunes might throw 1013 error at you as shown in the screenshot below. This is normal, just ignore this error as the firmware has already been successfully installed on the device

Incase of the above mentioned error, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will be stuck in Recovery Mode, showing that �Connect to iTunes� screen.
To exit your device from Recovery Mode, download this program called TinyUmbrella (Windows/Mac). Run it and the click on �Exit Recovery� button. Your device will now restart normally.

Last but not the least, you must now remove 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com line from the host file so that you are prompted for future updates from Apple via iTunes.

ADB is an acronym for Android Debug Bridge and is a development tool for the Android Mobile Operating System

To enable "Debugging Mode", Go to Settings, Applications and then select Development. Once in the Development options list check the box that says "USB Debugging".

Madden NFL 12 Goes on, Even Without an NFL Season

Madden NFL is the most widely played football videogame. Owned by EA (Electronic Arts), Madden NFL has gone through 22 versions, and Madden NFL 12, set to be released August 2011, will be the 23rd.

Currently the NFL Player's Association and the NFL are in a dispute, and if the two sides do not come to an agreement within the next few months, the 2011-2012 season will not be played.

EA says they plan on releasing Madden NFL 12, as usual in August, even if the 2011-2012 season is not played.

CNET got an interview with Rob Semsey, EA Sports' director of public relations. "Fans of Madden NFL will not have their seasons interrupted, regardless of when the labor issues are resolved. We plan to release Madden NFL 12 in August as usual." said Rob.

Two problems may come with releasing Madden NFL 12 without a real NFL season to back it up. One of the issues with this is that some players have left their teams at the end of last season, but have not been signed with another team yet. EA would probably replace the players with generic ones, or maybe keep the same rosters as last year.

Another possible problem is EA's bottom line. Although EA has not said how their bottom line would be affected if there was no season this year, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter told The Hollywood Reporter last week that Madden sales heavily depend on the NFL season. Pachter said that if there is no season this year, it could "cost Madden around 50% of sales."

What this infection does:
System Tool is a computer infection from the same family as Security Tool. This infection is also categorized as a rogue anti-spyware program as it pretends to be an anti-virus program, but is actually a program that displays fake security alerts and scan results in order to make you think your computer is infected. System Tool is installed through the use of malware that will install the program onto your computer without your knowledge or permission. When installed, the infection files will be created in a random named folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\, in XP, or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\, in Windows Vista and Windows 7. It will then be configured to start automatically when you login to your computer.

Once running it will scan your computer and state that there are numerous infections present, but will not allow you to remove them until you purchase the program. It is important to understand that SystemTool is scripted to display fake scan results regardless of whether or not your computer is infected. Therefore, please do not be concerned if this program states you are infected. System Tool will also terminate any executables that you attempt to run in order to protect itself from being removed. When you attempt to run any program, it will terminate that program's process and then display a message similar to the following:

Application cannot be executed. The file cmd.exe is infected.
Please activate your antivirus software.

Just like the scan results, this message is fake and should be ignored.
While System Tool is running it will also display fake security alerts and warnings from your Windows taskbar. These alerts are designed to scare you into thinking that your computer is severely infected and that you should purchase the program to protect yourself. The text of these messages include:

Automated Removal Instructions for System Tool using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

Print out these instructions as we may need to close every window that is open later in the fix.
It is possible that the infection you are trying to remove will not allow you to download files on the infected computer. If you run into this problem when following the steps in this guide you will need to download the files requested in this guide on another computer and then transfer them to the infected computer. You can transfer the files via a CD/DVD, external drive, or USB flash drive.
Reboot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking using the instructions for your version of Windows found in the following tutorial:
How to start Windows in Safe Mode
When following the steps in the above tutorial, select Safe Mode with Networking rather than just Safe Mode. When the computer reboots into Safe Mode with Networking make sure you login with the username you normally use. When you are at your Windows desktop, please continue with the rest of the steps.
This infection changes your Windows settings to use a proxy server that will not allow you to browse any pages on the Internet with Internet Explorer or update security software. Regardless of the web browser you use, for these instructions we will first need need to fix this problem so that we can download the utilities we need to remove this infection.

Please start Internet Explorer, and when the program is open, click on the Tools menu and then select Internet Options as shown in the image below.
You should now be in the Internet Options screen as shown in the image below.

Now click on the Connections tab as designated by the blue arrow above.
You will now be at the Connections tab as shown by the image below.

Now click on the Lan Settings button as designated by the blue arrow above.
You will now be at the Local Area Network (LAN) settings screen as shown by the image below.

Under the Proxy Server section, please uncheck the checkbox labeled Use a proxy server for your LAN. Then press the OK button to close this screen. Then press the OK button to close the Internet Options screen. Now that you have disabled the proxy server you will be able to browse the web again with Internet Explorer.
Now we must end the processes that belong to System Tool so that it does not interfere with the cleaning procedure. To do this, please download RKill to your desktop from the following link.

When at the download page, click on the Download Now button labeled iExplore.exe download link. When you are prompted where to save it, please save it on your desktop.

If you are unable to connect to the site to download RKill, please go back and do steps 3-6 again and make sure the infection has not reenabled the proxy settings. You may have to do this quite a few times before you can get RKill downloaded. If you still cannot download the RKill program on the infected computer, you should download it to a clean computer and copy it to the infected one via a USB flash drive or CDROM.
Once it is downloaded, double-click on the iExplore.exe icon in order to automatically attempt to stop any processes associated with System Tool and other Rogue programs. Please be patient while the program looks for various malware programs and ends them. When it has finished, the black window will automatically close and you can continue with the next step. If you get a message that RKill is an infection, do not be concerned. This message is just a fake warning given by System Tool when it terminates programs that may potentially remove it. If you run into these infections warnings that close RKill, a trick is to leave the warning on the screen and then run RKill again. By not closing the warning, this typically will allow you to bypass the malware trying to protect itself so that RKill can terminate System Tool . So, please try running RKill until the malware is no longer running. You will then be able to proceed with the rest of the guide. Do not reboot your computer after running RKill as the malware programs will start again.

If you continue having problems running RKill, you can download the other renamed versions of RKill from the RKill download page. Both of these files are renamed copies of RKill, which you can try instead. Please note that the download page will open in a new browser window or tab.
Now you should download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, or MBAM, from the following location and save it to your desktop:

If you are unable to connect to the site to download Malwarebytes', please go back and do steps 3-6 again and make sure the infection has not reenabled the proxy settings.
Once downloaded, close all programs and Windows on your computer, including this one.
Double-click on the icon on your desktop named mbam-setup.exe. This will start the installation of MBAM onto your computer.
When the installation begins, keep following the prompts in order to continue with the installation process. Do not make any changes to default settings and when the program has finished installing, make sure you leave both the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware checked. Then click on the Finish button. If MalwareBytes' prompts you to reboot, please do not do so.
MBAM will now automatically start and you will see a message stating that you should update the program before performing a scan. As MBAM will automatically update itself after the install, you can press the OK button to close that box and you will now be at the main program as shown below.
On the Scanner tab, make sure the the Perform full scan option is selected and then click on the Scan button to start scanning your computer for System Tool related files.
MBAM will now start scanning your computer for malware. This process can take quite a while, so we suggest you go and do something else and periodically check on the status of the scan. When MBAM is scanning it will look like the image below.
When the scan is finished a message box will appear as shown in the image below.

You should click on the OK button to close the message box and continue with the SystemTool removal process.
You will now be back at the main Scanner screen. At this point you should click on the Show Results button.
A screen displaying all the malware that the program found will be shown as seen in the image below. Please note that the infections found may be different than what is shown in the image.

You should now click on the Remove Selected button to remove all the listed malware. MBAM will now delete all of the files and registry keys and add them to the programs quarantine. When removing the files, MBAM may require a reboot in order to remove some of them. If it displays a message stating that it needs to reboot, please allow it to do so. Once your computer has rebooted, and you are logged in, please continue with the rest of the steps.
When MBAM has finished removing the malware, it will open the scan log and display it in Notepad. Review the log as desired, and then close the Notepad window.
You can now exit the MBAM program.
As this infection also changes your Windows HOSTS file, we want to replace this file with the default version for your operating system. Please note that if you or your company has added custom entries to your HOSTS file then you will need to add them again after restoring the default HOSTS file. In order to protect itself, SystemTool changes the permissions of the HOSTS file so you can't edit or delete it. To fix these permissions please download the following batch file and save it to your desktop:

When the file has finished downloading, double-click on the hosts-perm.bat file that is now on your desktop. If Windows asks if you if you are sure you want to run it, please allow it to run. Once it starts you will see a small black window that opens and then quickly goes away. This is normal and is nothing to be worried about. You should now be able to access your HOSTS file.
We now need to delete the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS file. Once it is deleted, download the following HOSTS file that corresponds to your version of Windows and save it in the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc folder. If the contents of the HOSTS file opens in your browser when you click on a link below then right-click on the appropriate link and select Save Target As..., if in Internet Explorer, or Save Link As.., if in Firefox, to download the file.

Your Windows HOSTS file should now be back to the default one from when Windows was first installed.
Now reboot your computer.
