Voip Banned in Burma (Myanmar)

Voip is getting more and more popular in some countries but in some it is getting banned. Burma's military has ordered all public and private Internet cafés to stop using VoIP.

Actually with the use of Voip services like Skype, Google talk and so many others the revenue which was telecom industry is on a decline. This has led to to ban on Voip in Burma. Certainly this is not a solution to the revenue problem. Is it not good that people are able to spend less money on communicating with their loved ones. Or is it just that government wants to make money!

One of the major reason for growth in India is its communication network, role of internet! All call centers in India use voip services for calling. Lets see when does the ban on Voip is lifted in Burma.
