With Airtel Call Home closing its voip service, we thought to check for Trueroots : Tata Calling Cards. Well, their service is still on and not to surprise they have some good offers as well.

Tata Calling Cards Trueroots have launched its Truebargain offer, giving users cheap calls to India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This is a special offer where Tata Calling Card is offering special rates for a unique number of your choice.

In this Truebargain offer, on purchasing the plan for $20, you can configure one destination number(landline /mobile ) in either India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Srilanka. Special rates will be applicable to this one number that you configure. You can extend these rates by recharging your account as often as you want until the offer expires.

The calling rate to one special number in India will cost you just 0.9 cents per minute (toll free), but it will cost you 1.6 cent per minute on local access.

I would still give IndiaLD an upper edge over TrueRoots (Tata Calling Card) as they offer cheaper calls with pay per call plan as well. But if you are looking for a secondary calling card (voip provider) then this seems to be good. Also besides that one special number, Trueroots will charge 2.5 cents per minute for calling India.

Please note that once you configure a particular number, it cannot be modified for a minimum of 30 days.
