Stylistic Q550, Tablet PC From Fujitsu

Competing in the digital device market slate (tablet or slate PC) which is on the rise, Fujitsu does not want to lag and just sit on my hands.

Tablet PC products that flood the market today is still regarded as 'toys' that pleasant. Rows of the product is considered not to meet the needs of business and the security company that is a user.

Departing from this phenomenon, Fujitsu also released a stylistic Q550, tablet PCs their executive class designed for high-level computing needs of the company.

"Many PC slate on the market today is a fun toy, but they do not meet business needs and security,"

"This is our best spot by targeting the professional computing market and the government with a new slate PC that already has more than twenty years in building the company's mobile computers for use," said Lim Teck Sin, Vice President of Product Marketing & Engineering Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific .

Stylistic Q550 comes with anti-glare 10.1-inch screen and battery life is claimed to have to work a full day. Present connectivity via WLAN, Bluetooth and choice of 3G/UMTS mobile broadband.

This product is also equipped with a pressure sensitive pen for easy navigation. Stylistic Q550 will automatically recognize when a user works with a pen, which allows them to rest their hands on the screen while writing.

Hand writing recognition software embedded in it to convert the input into text. When the pen is not used, the slate PC is automatically reset to the touch interface.

"Stylistic Q550 provides low power and performance with Intel Atom processor that will come, with the code name Oak Trail," said Doug Davis, Vice President & General Manager of Intel's Netbooks & Tablet Group.

Atom Processors that sank staying would give multitasking experience for business people with functionality such as PCs and battery life all day for professionals on the go.

"Microsoft welcomes the launch of stylistic Q550," said Steven Guggenheimer, corporate vice president of Microsoft's OEM Division, in his statement.

"Windows 7 is the right choice for commercial customers who are looking for devices that enable business flexibility and mobility they need for their business success," he concluded.
