Free calls to Canada by Google Voice

Next big thing in voip, 'Google Voice' is getting bigger each day. We have so many times talked about Google Voice on this blog. I hope most of our blog readers must be aware of Google voice.

If you have not joined the Google Voice service, then its kinda high time to do so. Earlier Google Voice was offering only free calls to USA, but now they have extended their service. In addition to making free long distance calls within the continental US, you can now call Canada for free through Google Voice. You wont be charged any credit (from google voice account) for making calls to Canada. Yes, they are absolutely free !!

The calls can be initiated directly from your inbox, or from Google voice new mobile apps, or by dialing your own Google Voice number from one of your phones and selecting option 2 to place a call.

The only sad part is Google Voice is currently available for USA people. You'll need a working US phone to setup a Google Voice account. Lets just hope, Google Voice opens up for others as well.
