FreeCallButton Review : Not worth Trying

Well if you have been looking for Free calls to India, then it may be possible that you have wasted your time on some voip provider trying and making free calls but all in vain.

One of the recent such voip provider launched is FreeCallButton which claims to offer free international calls including free calls to India landlines and mobiles. But wait is it worth trying ?

Many such voip providers are launched and people waste a lot of their time trying them, and then end up not even making single free call. This is where we can help.

FreeCallButton claims that calls can be made TO and FROM most countries in the world. And you wont even have to register, not even have to pay anything. No credit card info, no personal information and no catch. They say that you can make 6 minutes of free calls per hour. That means, you can make 24 free calls in one day each of 6 min.

FreeCallButton also promises to offer calls via Phone to Phone, PC to Phone. But the main problem is it just does not work.

FreeCallButton website is full of ads, with all advertisement. Firstly this aint good for a voip provider. Then somehow even if you manage to know the calling procedure, PIN etc and try placing your call - Call Never gets through !!

I have tried many a times making phone calls but all in vain. Their local access numbers most of the times does not work. It does not sometimes accepts PIN, sometimes call dont get through.

Well, in my opinion it is many times better to go for a cheap provider like IndiaLD or Rebtel to make calls then wasting your time at this FreeCallButton Voip provider.

CallArc - Free International Calling Service

The day is not far when you will be able to make absolutely free international calls. Yes free calls anywhere in the world including free calls to India.

Well, this will be provided by the latest entry in the voip market. A service yet to be completely launched named CallArc. Basically CallArc is a free international service which lets you make free calls (national and international) via their website callarc.com or through your phones (Iphone/IPod/IPad/Android/Symbian and other Smart Phones). You will have to download CallArc to your mobile device. Open the CallArc application. Select from your contacts and call for free.

You will be able to make calls via access numbers just like other voip service, like any calling card (Reliance India Call etc). You can also make calls via Facebook application.

All these features, methods to make calls will be really good if they really get implemented. I am not very sure whether they will be able to meet the cost of calling destinations like Cuba, Philippines. But surely, India should be included in free calling list as now the calling rates to India are very cheap. Many many voip providers like Rynga, Jumblo etc offer cheap calls to India.

Although the CallArc service is not launched, but you can still register with them. CallArc will notify you whenever their service goes live so that you can make Free International Calls.

CallPakIndia.com : Cheap call to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh

With so many voip providers in the market, it is really difficult to decide which voip provider to choose from. Today we discuss one more voip provider CallPakIndia.com

I came across this voip provider while surfing the internet. CallPakIndia offers 2.8 cents per minute to India, the rate aint cheap if we look at other voip providers. But as a special promo offer it is offering 1 cent per minute to call India (again the offer aint that good because of minimum buy of $25). So I wont suggest people CallPakIndia for making calls to India.

But if you look at the prices for making calls to Pakistan then these are good. Also the calling ratesare good for maing calls to Bangladesh, UK, Suadi/Riyadh. Again as a special promo offer, callPakIndia is offering 5.9 cents per min to call Pakistan (but this is when you buy $200 credit wufff..too much). If you opt for $10 credit your calling rate would be 7.9 cents per minute.

So, if you are looking for a cheap option to call Pakistan, UAE, Bangladesh then have a look at CallPakIndia.

Tuitalk reduces call duration to 2 min per call to India

I am sure every regular reader of this blog must be aware of Tuitalk. Tuitalker gained much popularity only when it started offering free calls to India (though they were offering free international calls to many other countries about 40).

Tuitalk free international calls offer (specially to India was a big hit). Tuitalk, a Free Pc to Phone calling service, initially it was even offering free India to India calls but later restricted calls from other countries to India. (People of India were restricted from usin Tuitalk software). I myself used the service for a good period of time. Earlier the call duration was of 10 min (it offered 10min/day free minutes).

Tuitalk post has recently received many user comments informing us about the reduction of free minutes. Tuitalk has reduced the call duration to just 2min/per to a max of 3 calls per day. That makes a total of just 6 min per day.....lol. Are they kiddin...???

When the call rates of Pc to Phone services like Nymgo, call rates of Betamax services and even call rates of calling card like Pingo is so less, why would people still go for these 2min/call deal. (this means you save only 2-3 cents...lol..not even Rs 1.).

I guess Tuitalk seriously needs to think about their update. I am sure a lot many people would stop using their free service. I guess either they are not finding advertisers to pay for calls or whatever reason they need to work it out.

Free calls from UK (BT landlines) to India and worldwide

A large part of Free Pc to Phone calls blog readers are from UK (actually a large part of indians are settled in UK). Telecom companies earn a good money when these NRI's connect to their loved ones in India. But we have found some solution using which people from UK can connect to India for free (they can make free calls to India).

Firstl lets see how can you make free calls to India and other countries. (No need to register, no credit cards required. )

1. Simply dial the access number 0870 494 52522.
2. When connected, at the dial tone, dial the international number you want to call
3 E.g. for a call to Delhi India, you dial: 0870 494 5252 wait for dial tone and then dial 0091 11 2731 XXXX … it’s that easy!

Now where the catch...?
hmmn..this service is quite similar to what many Australian companies offer. (They also give a local mobil access number dialing which you can connect to India for free).
Now you only pay for connecting to this local UK number (0870 494 5252 ). BT announced that from 16th January calls to numbers starting 0870 will be included in Calling Plans and therefore free to dial from BT landlines at certain times. So, if you are using BT landlines then you can make free calls to India (first just check with BT if you can call this local UK number for free, you may end up paying high if it aint free, so better to check the call rate first).

Others, too may check with their respective telecom provider if this number of eligible for free cap minutes. If its include then voilla, you can make free calls to India, Pakistan or just any other country.

However, if dialing this number aint free for you, just check the call rate to this number and make cheap calls.

For international users, I was wondering if we can found some way to connect to this number for free (using VOIP), then we too can make free calls to anywhere in world. I am too finding a solution.

Not only India, Pakistan, USA, Canada, Nepal, African countries, using this way you can call mist arts of the world for free. I guess this works only on weekdays and not on weekends ( I am not too sure of it, so better to check this too.)

PS: I found this local number and this method posted in some forum, so thought of sharing on this blog. It may no work but still worth trying. So, are you able to make free calls to India using this way..? Have to confirmed the rates to this local number with BT. Please share your views in the comment section...!
