SimpleCall : Connection charges only for UK Customers

Well, we have posted about SimpleCall. Firstly because of the free test credit offered by Simple call so that people can make free international calls, and then we posted about SimpleCall Connection charges.

Offcourse, the free trial credit works good and you can make free calls to India. When your free credit is over, you can buy credit from simple call and make cheap calls to India as it offers calls to India at 1p, but hey we only told you about the connection charges by Simple Call.

To my surprise, when I checked again the terms and conditions of SimpleCall I found they have been modified.

Q: Is there have any connection charge for India and Pakistan?
A: The connection charge of £0.05 for India & £0.15 for Pakistan. This will be added when the call duration exceeds 5 minutes. It is applicable only for the UK customers.

So, that means if you are using SimpleCall to make calls to countries apart from India and Pakistan there will be no connection charges. Use simpleCall to make calls to Bangladesh (Call rate 2.5p per min).

Secondly, it applies only to UK customers. That means, if you are not from UK then you dont have to pay any connection charges. Use SimpleCall from USA, Canada and make calls to India at just 1.6 cents per min.

I wonder, if UK customers also make calls using Phone (SIP calls via Fring), then too they have to pay this connection fees. SimpleCalls works similar to a calling card like Reliance India Call or make calls using PC application or use Fring in your mobile to make mobile voip calls.

OneRupeeCall : Free 3 minute call to India

Here is another voip provider launched in the market (I am not sure if they have been around in the past, but OneRupeeCall has been catching up buzz now only). So today we discuss about OneRupeeCall and how to use to make cheap and free calls to India.

Well, OneRupeeCall.com is one of the upcoming next generation Telecom services provider on the Globe as they say so. They have launched themselves with offering calls to 30 countries for the charge of a rupee. You can make calls to Australia, USA, UK, Singapore for just one rupee.

Actually if you convert if to US cents, it comes about to 2.5 cents per minute. The calling method offered by OneRupeeCall is using a softphone (download application). So making PC to Phone calls, that to at 2.5 cents per minute aint cheap as compared to what others offer.

They have not mentioned the calling rates to other countries apart from those 30. Their calling rate to India is not clear. (I guess may be need to register first to exactly know about them and procedures).

The good thing about OneRupeeCall is that they are offering free calls to India of 3 minute talktime.

First you need to register to make a 3 Minutes FREE call to India!

LocalPhone offering First free call

Yesterday we posted about FreeCallButton and the way by which you can make free calls to India. It worked for some, but few are still facing some issues. You may also try it first.

But if you are looking for a cheap voip provider to India offering good voice quality, good customer support, some very good time to time offers and reliable service then try LocalPhone.

In the past, we have posted about LocalPhone many a times. A lot of people use Localphone for all their calling needs. Some good things about Localphone is the number of ways it offers you to make calls. You can use Direct dial feature or like a Calling card. It offers local access numbers in so many countries. I am also using LocalPhone to make calls to my friends in Dubai !

Well, the reason I posted about LocalPhone again is that it is also offering first free call. I am not very sure whether it was offering free call earlier. Atleast the time I joined, I was not offered any free call. But if you check the localphone website again it mentions that you will get your first call free, asking you to register for a free call.

LocalPhone has not mentioned about the call limited (duration) for this first free call, neither has it mentioned about the countries you can make this call to. Is India included or not ?

So, all those who have not yet tested LocalPhone can atleast try it for a free call. Please do mention your experience and if you are provided with any free credit (first call credit).

Update : Localphone is running a promotional offer. When you sigh up with $1 credit, you will get $2.5 credit. That's additional $1.5 credit as bonus.
$1.5 credit is worth 100 minutes to India. This makes cheapest voip provider to India with effective rate of just 0.6 cents per minute. This offer can be used to call other countries as well. What are you waiting for. Just try Localphone.
(No expiry of credit, good voice quality, and sign up with as low as $1).

FreeCallButton Review : Unlimited Free International Calls

Well, yes yesterday I posted about FreeCallbutton and asked you to not to try this service as it was not working for many. Before posting about FreeCallbutton I myself tried it number of times, but most of time I was getting a message to try again.

FreeCallbutton offered a number of access numbers -: I tried many of them, but it didn't worked with many. The reason I posted about calling procedure not clear was that because, the usual calling procedure (yellow block) on main page works with the USA access number (mentioned) only. If you try it with some other access number (I tried iNum Swedish Number), it did not worked, keeps on asking me to dial iNum number (even if I dial the PIN).

However, some of people informed me that FreeCallButton worked for them. Our regular reader Harry also informed about their good customer support (answering your problems even if they are offering free calls). Well, this made me think about the voip provider again !

Today I again tried to make free calls to India using FreeCallButton. This time I followed the exact way mentioned on their website (USA Access number).

First Call : Call get connected but hey a wrong Number !! This has happened to me for first time while making a voip phone call. The call got connected at wrong destination. Anyways I tried again !
Second Call : Asked me to try again ! (The message I got yesterday too).
Third Call : Voilla the call got connected and to the right destination. I talked about 5-6 minutes and the voice quality was also good.

Now since I am able to make free calls to India (and offcourse to other international countries), let me write some steps to follow to GET UNLIMITED FREE CALLS TO INDIA !

1. If you are living USA just dial 1-206-424-1330 from your regular phone.
What about those not living in USA and want to make calls to India free. Say calling India to India free. Get a free account with WebcallDirect.com (any other betamax) and dial this USA access number.

2. You will hear a voice prompt asking you to dial PIN. Now this PIN changes daily and can be found at Freecallpin.com (todays pin - 6263). Follow this with # key.

3. On prompt, dial your destination number - 00 then the country code then the phone number then the # key.

Ideally your call should get connected within seconds.

Now what, you have ended your per hour limit of 6 minutes and want to talk more this hour. Register for one more free account with webcalldirect.com (change your IP - broadband ones just switch off and on your router). Follow the steps again to make more free calls.

Well, it may be possible that your call does not get connected at first go, so better to try again (sometimes because of load it may not work).
I too realized that we should not complain much when you are getting all these calls for free.

Guys, please post your views, let us know whether you are able to make free calls or not. I will also try to answer your problems in case you face any !

Now I can say FreeCallButton is atleast worth a try. Who knows you may find a regular unlimited free calls to India voip provider.

Gobe7 Reduced call rates to India : Pc to Phone calls

However they soon turned to a paid voip provider offering a cool voip softphone with cheap calling rates. The calling rate to India was lowered to 2 cents per min but now when I checked the Globe7 website the calling rate to India mobile is 1.28 cents/min.

You can get localphone incoming numbers and let people from other countries contact you. Or you can use localphone softphone to make Pc to phone calls/use SIP settings by localphone to make SIP calls.

CallPakIndia.com : Cheap call to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh

With so many voip providers in the market, it is really difficult to decide which voip provider to choose from. Today we discuss one more voip provider CallPakIndia.com

I came across this voip provider while surfing the internet. CallPakIndia offers 2.8 cents per minute to India, the rate aint cheap if we look at other voip providers. But as a special promo offer it is offering 1 cent per minute to call India (again the offer aint that good because of minimum buy of $25). So I wont suggest people CallPakIndia for making calls to India.

But if you look at the prices for making calls to Pakistan then these are good. Also the calling ratesare good for maing calls to Bangladesh, UK, Suadi/Riyadh. Again as a special promo offer, callPakIndia is offering 5.9 cents per min to call Pakistan (but this is when you buy $200 credit wufff..too much). If you opt for $10 credit your calling rate would be 7.9 cents per minute.

So, if you are looking for a cheap option to call Pakistan, UAE, Bangladesh then have a look at CallPakIndia.

Zenofon giving away free credit worth $650.

Yes you heard it right, Zenofon is now again on a roll. Last month Zenofon launched their $500 give away and now they have launched their $650 free credit give away.

It seems that their free trial credit giveaway thing is workig very fine for them. I guess most of you know about Zenofon and how to join Zenofon. Zenofon is a simple voip service which works like most calling cards and voip services so we wont be discussing that again. To join Zenofon you need a referal, so you just cant join directly. But dont worry we are here to give you a invite.

Apart from this giveaway, Zenofon also gives all its new users free trial credit to make free calls.
This $650 free credit offer is again based on tell your friend plan. You are entitled to enter this contest when you refer your friend to join zenofon.

There are two parts to the contest this month : The first part of the contest is the same as last time, in which Zenofon is giving money prizes to the people who finish in the top 50 referrers for the month. The more you make, the higher your cash prize is. The new thig this time is that Zenofon is giving away $10 to the tenth place contest finisher, $20 to the person who finishes in 20th place, $30 to the 30th place winner, $40 to the 40th place winner and $50 to the 50th place winner. This new contest seems to be little more interesting just because of the randomness and the fact that the one who is inviting but couldnt reach top 10 or top 5 still holds a good chance to win prize worth $50.

Zenofon is now giving an additional $10 free coupon, to anyone who signs up with our auto-recharge program. Overall Zenofon is a nice voip service and worth trying. Carry on with Zenofon if you like their voip service.

RingPlus comes with voip service : Call India cheap

The time Ringplus.net came into market, it was a big hit as it offered free calls to India. Ringplus offered free calls to many countries and the call duration was also high. Basically Ringplus made their costs from the advertisement. After few months, this ad-based voip service then lowered the free calling minutes.

At present Ringplus offers 5-6 free minutes to India. A lot of people use Ringplus.net voip service to make calls to India, but some dont prefer it because of the call duration. Now Ringplus has started its paid service (combined with free service). With this paid service you can buy voip calling credit and can use to make calls to any country.

The best part about this new move by Ringplus is that it still offers free minutes, what it means that if you call India then your first 5.54 minutes will be free and you will be charged from next minute. So you call wont get disconnected and you enjoy free part too.

Lets talk about the calling rate which ringplus is offering to India. Ringplus is offering calls to India at 2 cents per minute. So if you talk for 8 minutes, you will be charged about 6 cents. I guess the calling rate is not the cheapest but clubbed with free minutes, the effective rate comes down.

Ringplus is access based number service, you need to call local access number then destination number. Call quality is also ok.

You can purchase call credit in denominations of $10, $20, or $30. I would suggest you to first try with $10.
Few points to be considered here are :
All sales are final. No returns. No exchanges. No refunds. All items purchased are not for resale.
VoIP minutes will expire after a one (1) year period of inactivity from the date of purchase.

So overall Ringplus offers looks good to me, and is worth trying. Please post your reviews to help others.
