Full step by step guide below:
STEP 1: Download iOS 4.3.3 from here, and iTunes 10.2.2 from here.
STEP 2: Start Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC15 and point it to the official iOS 4.3.3 you downloaded above.


STEP 3: Select Install Cydia and any other options you need then hit the Next button.


STEP 4: Make sure your device is turned off and plugged into your Computer.


STEP 5: Now follow the steps on the screen to enter the DFU mode not Recovery Mode.


STEP 6: Finally sit back and have a cup of coffee then wait for Redsn0w to jailbreak your iOS device followed by a quick reboot.

[HOW-TO] - Untethered Jailbreak Apple TV 4.3.1 (Build 4.2.1) Using Seas0nPass

I planned to Jailbreak my Apple TV 2 this Saturday or Sunday. Finally, the untethered version is out yesterday and below is the instruction.

Seas0nPass jailbreak tool has for both Windows and Mac has been updated with the latest untethered exploit to untether the jailbreak on second generation Apple TV, running on the latest iOS 4.3.1 (4.2.1)

For those of you who don�t know, Seas0nPass jailbreak tool is like PwnageTool for Mac, or Sn0wbreeze for Windows, which can can create custom jailbroken .IPSW files for your second-gen Apple TV.
Before you proceed with the jailbreak, you will need the following:

• A Micro-USB cable
• iTunes 10.2.1
• iOS 4.2.1 (Based on iOS 4.3) for Apple TV
• Seas0nPass

All download links are posted at the end of this article.
Step 1: Download and launch Seas0nPass.
Step 2: Now select �Create IPSW� option to build your own custom jailbroken 4.3.1 firmware for Apple TV.

Step 3: Now wait for Seas0nPass to download all the files required for creating custom firmware.

Step 4: When prompted by Seas0nPass, connect your Apple TV using a micro-USB cable (leave power disconnected), and hold-down both the �MENU� and �PLAY/PAUSE� buttons for 7 seven seconds.

Step 5: iTunes should now open automatically to start the restore process.

Step 6: iTunes will confirm the restore when complete. Once done, your Apple TV will be fully jailbroken, untethered on iOS 4.3.1.
Once complete, remove the USB cable and connect the HDMI cable.

I prefer using Redsn0w to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1. Its a much shorter and simpler way. But if you want to use sn0wbreeze, you can check the instructions below.

The sn0wbreeze 2.5 released by iH8sn0w can now be used to carry out untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 by creating custom firmware. Sn0wbreeze 2.5 allows you to preserver your unlockable baseband to be unlock with ultrasn0w. The guide below will help you to Jailbreak any iOS 4.3.1 device in just a few steps.

This Jailbreak Supports:

• iPhone 3G/3G[S]/4
• iPod Touch 2G/3G/4
• iPad
• Apple TV 2

Required Downloads:

• Sn0wbreeze 2.5
• iTunes 10.2.1(1) or later

Sn0wbreeze will begin Processing to create custom Jailbroken iOS 4.3.1 Software Update for iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch 3G and 4G.


Step 5: Once your custom Jailbroken iOS 4.3.1 Software Update is successfully created then follow the Sn0wbreeze instruction to entering DFU mode or use below easy DFU method .

Put your device into DFU mode

• Connect your device with iTunes
• Hold down the Power and Home buttons together for 12 seconds
• Release Power button but keep holding the Home button for 15 seconds

When your device in DFU mode then Sn0wbreeze get the following message from thier iREB software.

Step 6: Now open iTunes and hold down left �Shift� key and click on �Restore� button and select Sn0wbreeze Custom iOS 4.3.1 and after that iTunes auto detect you Custom iOS 4.3.1 and start Restoring.

Congrats! Your iOS 4.3.1 Device is successfully updated and jailbroken iOS 4.3.1.

Dev-Team has released iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak for both Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 and PwnageTool 4.3, the jailbreak support all iOS devices except iPad 2


NOTE: Users who rely on ultrasn0w unlock MUST stay away from Redsn0w.


Step 1: Download iOS 4.3.1 for your device (download links at the end)
Step 2: Update/Restore to iOS 4.3.1 firmware using the IPSW file via iTunes 10.2.1. (NOTE: If at this step you encountered Error 1013 and the iPhone is in an endless Recovery Mode, use this method to kick out from the Recovery Mode)
Step 3: Start Redsn0w and point it to the official iOS 4.3.1 firmware file.

Here�s what you will need to know before proceeding:

• iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 4.2.1
• iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with SHSH blobs saved for iOS 4.2 Beta 3.
• Mac OS X
• Access to iOS 4.2 Beta 3 firmware file.
• If you rely on Ultrasn0w unlock, STAY AWAY from this version of Redsn0w.
• Currently limited to iPhone 4, iPad and iPod touch 4G only.

The best thing about this �backup plan� is that it doesn�t require you to restore or re-jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Step 3: Download Redsn0w 0.9.6b7 and connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with Mac.

Step 4: Now download usbmuxd from here and extract it on your computer. Start Terminal inpython-client directory and then run the following commands as shown in the screenshot below.

chmod +x tcprelay.py
./tcprelay.py -t 22:2222

Step 5: Start Redsn0w and point it to the official iOS 4.2.1 firmware file.

Step 6: Now click �Next� and select �Jailbreak Monte� option, followed by selecting iOS 4.2 Beta 3 firmware file.

Step 7: Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click �Next�.

At this stage you will be presented with a screen where you will have to quickly hold �Power� button and then while holding the �Power� button, you will now have to hold �Home� button too. Now after few seconds release �Power� button but keep holding �Home� button until installation begins.

Step 8: Sit back and enjoy while Redsn0w will do all the rest for you. Once done, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will restart automatically and you will find it fully jailbroken (untethered) on the latest iOS 4.2.1 firmware.
